Māori Whakataukī
A Whakataukī allows us to consider our thinking through the lens of Māori, rather than our own. The below Whakataukī is aligned to our belief that children are a Taonga (treasure), and that by sowing seeds of encouragement, kindness, patience and love, we are laying the foundation for our children’s future.

White Sunday is an important day in the Pacific Calendar. Children have the opportunity to dress up in their best white outfits, perform songs and quote scriptures in front of the Church. This scripture is widely recited by Tongan children while their parents and family look on proudly
