Pacific Language Weeks 2024
Dates for the 2024 Pacific Language Weeks have now been announced, with 2 new languages added to the calendar. For the first time, we now have Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.
The Pacific is extremely vulnerable to climate change, as a result, the most substantial impacts of climate change include losses of coastal infrastructure and land, more intense and out of season cyclones, lack of sustainable crops and coastal fisheries, losses of coral reefs and mangroves, and lastly, the spread of certain diseases.
