Aukilani Kids 

Aukilani Kids is a Christian faith-based, Samoan bi-lingual service. We are part of the Aukilani Community Church movement, based in Avondale, Auckland. Our ECE programme has a unique Christian character that is aligned with the Aukilani Community Church.

Our service operates from a exclusive custom built facility located within the Aukilani Community Church premises, in Avondale, Auckland. Our building is all on ground level, is modern and spacious. Our outdoor play areas are exciting and safe, spilt into different areas ensuring that children will never get bored. Our environment is stimulating, enriching, explorative, warm and inviting. Through various activities and programmes, we encourage children to learn at their own pace and celebrate their growing independence.

We provide all day care for children aged 2 years to 6 years, including morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snacks.

We aim to have high teacher ratios. Over 80% of Teachers are qualified and registered with the New Zealand Education Council. All first aid certified. Our Cook is fully certified in food hygiene and has lots of experience in the trade.

In our pledge to provide a sustainable level of quality education and care for children, we include a strong performance-based HR system that includes regular professional development for teachers, in-house training and annual appraisals for all staff.

Our curriculum is based on the New Zealand ECE Curriculum and therefore we endeavor to uphold national standards to the highest level. We encourage our staff to participate in on-going learning and higher level research within the ECE sector so that we can keep abreast with the latest developments in the industry.
