What is Renewable Energy?
In this video, we highlight different renewable energy systems such as solar, hydro, wind and thermal energy. The video also contains Tongan translations of key words.
Renewable energy is often known as clean energy, and comes from natural sources that are plentiful and constantly replenished.
STEAM Learning for Pacific Children: Renewable Energy with Tongan Translations
Pacific Learners is proud to launch the first video in our new STEAM Learning series, focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. This series is designed to inspire young Pacific learners to explore critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills through engaging educational content.
STEAM education for children encourages students to view the world from multiple perspectives while developing communication, reflection, and analytical skills. By introducing STEAM concepts in culturally relevant ways, we help Pacific children build confidence in subjects that shape the future.
In our first lesson, we explore renewable energy systems, including key Tongan translations to support bilingual learning. Renewable energy, often referred to as clean energy, comes from natural sources that replenish themselves and help protect the environment.
To improve access to STEAM education, Pacific Learners has created a dedicated STEAM Learning Resource Page, featuring educational videos and visual resources that support classroom and home learning.
