5 ways to protect your childs teeth

  1. Make sure your child brushes their teeth twice a day with regular strength fluoride tooth paste
  2. Reduce sugar from your child’s meals and snacks. This includes cakes, biscuits, ice-cream and all fizzy drinks. Encourage drinking water and milk
  3. Have regular dental check-ups
  4. Lift the lip every month to check for tooth decay
  5. Start to floss as soon as your child’s teeth start to fit closely together. This usually happens between the ages of 2yrs and 6yrs. If you are not sure, talk to your dentist
